Description
The Turkish government scholarship program YTB started in 2005 especially after the new policy towards Africa. It provides opportunities for young’s in all levels of education starting with airfares, tuition fees, accommodation and monthly expenses which are 700, 950,1400 Turkish liras for bachelor, masters, and PhD students respectively.
- Number of Awards for Sudanese: 50 to 100 candidates yearly (MSc and PhD).
- Scholarship includes a one year Turkish Language Course
- Scholarship Deadline(s): Start January (annual ) – end in March.
Eligibilities
Minimum Academic Criteria: for Bachelor’s applicants: 70%, for Master’s and Doctorate degree applicants: 75%, and for Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy) applicants: 90%.
